The former employee alleges that he was procedurally and unfairly dismissed following having been found guilty at an internal hearing on a charge of theft of FPB material,

unauthorised access to a restricted area and dishonesty.

Note: There was one other dismissal that occurred in 2014/15. However, this matter was referred to the CCMA and the staff member was reinstated in accordance with the arbitration award. This matter has not been formally reported in response to this question as the dismissal was overturned. Should further information on this case be required the FPB is very willing to provide such.
