1. What (a) amount in funding did a certain person (name furnished) receive in the form of a bursary from his department in the 2017-18 financial year and (b) total number of students received bursaries from (i) his department and/or (ii) any entity reporting to him in the specified financial year; 2. whether his department sponsored and/or supported the specified person for any school; if not, what is the position in this regard; if so, what are the relevant details; 3. whether he has found that any other ordinary person who wanted to study overseas in the entertainment industry would have easily been given the opportunity the same way that it was given to the person; if not, what is the position in this regard; if so, what are the relevant details of the (a) instances and/or examples where this has occurred; 4. whether he has found that the relations of the person to a certain person (name furnished) gave her an upper hand to get funds from his department; if not, why not; if so, what are the details of the processes and procedure that were followed for the person to secure the funding when other kids are struggling to get such funding to go to school?
