No, the Internal Audit Directorate Reports directly to the Director General as the Accounting Officer.

QUESTION 456 FOR WRITTEN REPLY MR P VAN DALEN (DA) TO ASK THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE, FORESTRY AND FISHERIES:

1)(a) With reference to her reply to question 1694 on 12 July 2011, what is the detailed expenditure breakdown for the Ministry sub-programme under Programme 1: Administration, specifically for goods and services in the (a) 2007-08, (b) 2008-09, (c) 2009-10 and (d) 2010-11 financial years;

(2)(a) what was the actual budget increase each year, expressed as a percentage, for funds allocated to this sub-programme and (b) how is the increase for each specified financial year justified;

(3)(a) how much money was paid out to (i) her and (ii) any other specified person for expenses incurred and (b) what are the details of these expenses;

(4)(a) what amount was paid to employees under the subsection Compensation of employees, (b) what are the names of the specified employees and (c) what amount was paid (i) to each specified employee and (ii) as (aa) expenses and (bb) subsistence in each case? NW604E
