Wilson, Ms ER to ask the Minister of Social Development
(1)With regard to her reply to question 1960 on 23 June 2015, can she provide copies of the specified reports; (2) what process was used by the SA Social Security Agency’s (SASSA’s) senior management to interrogate these reports, as well as reports by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, to determine which payment model is appropriate for SASSA; (3) whether any additional international trips are planned; if so, what are the relevant details? - Yes
- These reports on the payment model are being discussed at SASSA executive management level.
- Currently there are no planned international trips but this does not preclude the Agency or the Department to do so when the need arises.
