Whether the National Prosecuting Authority is planning on prosecuting a certain person (name furnished); (2) whether he will make a statement on the matter?
Reply:
- The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) can only prosecute when there is a complainant who opened a criminal docket at the police station. At this stage, we are not aware of any case lodged with the police against the person referred to.
