MINUTES
After the Committee introduced themselves, they unanimously elected Professor S Mayatula (ANC) unapposed, as Chairperson of the Committee.
The Chairperson expressed appreciation and then the Committee Programme was approved. He said the Members would undergo training and get their laptops from Parliament soon.
The Committee decided to ask the Department to brief them on its Strategic Plan and the budget. The suggested dates were 27 May 2004 for the budget and 1-2 June for the public hearings
The meeting was adjourned.
