The Portfolio Committee on Water and Environmental
Affairs, having considered the request for approval by Parliament of the
Agreement between the Government of the Republic of South Africa and the
Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho on the Phase II of the Lesotho Highlands
Water Project
,
recommends
that the House, in terms of section 231 (2) of the Constitution of the Republic
of South Africa, 1996, approve the said International Agreement.
