Report of the Portfolio Committee on Transport on the National Road Traffic Amendment Bill [B 7D – 2020] (National Assembly – sec 76), dated 20 February 2024

 

The Portfolio Committee on Transport, having considered the National Road Traffic

Amendment Bill [B 7D – 2020] (National Assembly – sec 76), amended by the National

Council of Provinces and referred to the Committee, reports that it has agreed to the Bill.

 

The Committee further reports:

 

1. The National Road Traffic Amendment Bill [B7D – 2020] (the Bill) was amended by the Council and returned to the Assembly for concurrence on 7 December 2023. The Bill was subsequently referred to the Portfolio Committee on Transport (the Committee).
2. The Committee considered the amendments to the Bill on 6 February 2024 and agreed to the Bill.
3. The Committee recommends that the National Assembly pass the Bill.
