1. Overview of the Chairperson:
According to the Rules of the National Assembly, Rule 166 2 (b) A committee must report to the Assembly - on its activities at least once per year, and this Annual Report documents the activities of the Committee between September until end December 2023 period.
The purpose of this report is to provide an account of the Portfolio Committee on Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation during the 2023 term and to assess key outstanding issues pertaining to the oversight and legislative programme of the Department and its entities.
