AD HOC COMMITTEE ON THE REVIEW OF POWERS, PRIVILEGES AND IMMUNITIES OF PARLIAMENT AND PROVINCIAL LEGISLATURES ACT MEMORANDUM IN TERMS OF RULE 274(3) OF THE RULES OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
 

The Ad Hoc Committee on the Review of Powers, Privileges and Immunities of Parliament and Provincial Legislatures Act (“Committee”) hereby informs the National Assembly in terms of National Assembly Rule 274(3), that the Draft Powers, Privileges and Immunities of Parliament and Provincial Legislatures Amendment Bill was published for public comment in Government Gazette 41456 on 23 February 2018. The closing date for submissions is on 26 March 2018.

 

The Committee intends reporting on the outcome of this consultation process by 29 June 2018.
