The Select Committee on Security and Constitutional Development , having considered the request for concurrence by Parliament of the Policy guidelines for the selection of National Priority Offences by the National Head of the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) and the Policy guidelines for the referral to the DPCI by the National Commissioner of any offence or category of offences for investigation by the DPCI , recommends that the NCOP approve the Policy Guidelines.
