on the amendment of annex IV and VI of the Trade Development and Cooperation
Agreement between the Republic of South Africa, on the one part, and the
European Community and its Member States, on the other part, regarding certain
agricultural products, dated 20 February 2013
The Select Committee on Trade and
International Relations, having considered the request for approval by
Parliament of the
Agreement on the amendment of annex IV and
VI of the Trade Development and Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of
South Africa, on the one part, and the European Community and its Member
States, on the other part, regarding certain agricultural products
(
referred to as the
“
Cheese Agreement”
),
tabled
in terms of section 231(2) of the Constitution, 1996
,
recommends that the Council, in terms of section 231(2) of the Constitution,
approve the said Agreement.
