Gauteng Province
The Committee will visit the offices of the Commission on Gender Equality (CGE) and hold workshop with the CGE on the litigation cases and costs incurred in dealing with these cases. In addition, the workshop to be hosted by the Commission on Gender Equality would coincide with the Committee's oversight and visit to the offices of the Commission. Moreover, the Committee intends to visit one of the Commission's Legal Clinics and provincial office dealing with complaints.
The objectives of the oversight are to: Assess the CGE's infrastructure at their offices. Visit the CGE provincial offices to assess how matters related to complaints from civil society are handled. Visit Legal Clinic to assess services delivered to civil society in this regard.

It will also visit National Development Agency (NDA) projects and NGOs that render services for children and older persons.

The Committee will also assess achievements and challenges in the implementation of the National Health Insurance (NHI) Pilot Project.
