THE LEGISLATURE HAS IMPLEMENTED PREVENTATIVE MEASURES TO CURB THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 AND IN LINE WITH THE NATIONAL STATE OF DISASTER REGULATIONS: ALL PROGRAMMES OF THE LEGISLATURE THAT INVOLVE THE PUBLIC HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THE LEGISLATURE IS ALSO CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC FOR THIS PERIOD.  THE EASTERN CAPE PROVINCIAL LEGISLATURE URGES THE PUBLIC TO ADHERE TO THE NATIONAL LOCKDOWN DIRECTIVES. #StayHomeSA  #StaySafe

 

During the lockdown, the Legislature will continue to serve as a people’s assembly by conducting all its meetings via a virtual platform until stated otherwise by the Executive of the Legislature.
