ELECTION OF THE NEW CHAIRPERSON
Nominations for the position of chairperson were requested. Mrs N E Lubidla nominated Mr S E Fenyane of the ANC. As there were no further nominations Mr S E Fenyane was duly elected. He accepted the position and called for all members to work together as a team. The chairperson said that a provisional date had been arranged with Telkom so that the members could be briefed. The provisional date to visit a satellite plan had been scheduled. The opposition parties congratulated Mr S E Fenyane on his appointment.
