MUNICIPAL ELECTORAL BILL; IDENTIFICATION AMENDMENT BILL: VOTING & SADC HEALTH PROTOCOL

LOCAL GOVERNMENT: MUNICIPAL ELECTORAL BILL
The DP opposed clause 23 of the Bill saying it would like the clause to provide for ballot box serial numbers to be recorded. The Committee voted in favour of the Bill without amendments.

INDENTIFICATION AMENDMENT BILL
The DP was against the Bill because of clause 65 which provides for scrapping of the old identity documents. The Committee voted in favour of the Bill without amendments.

SADC HEALTH PROTOCOL
The committee discussed the Protocol and agreed to its adoption.
