Budget Vote 22 debate
The Chairperson indicated that the provisional speakers list for the debate will be distributed on Monday, 12 June 2000. The Committee resolved that where a province is not going to participate in the debate, that province forfeits its allocated time.

Public hearings
The Chairperson announced that the Portfolio Committee on Provincial and Local Government will be having public hearings on traditional leadership. The hearings will be held on 6-7 June 2000. Members were encouraged to attend these hearings if they are available.
