The Standing Committee on Appropriations adopted the Draft Report on the 2016 Division of Revenue Amendment Bill. The Democratic Alliance reserved its right not to adopt the report. Feedback would be given to the Committee before the report went to the ATC. The Committee agreed the Draft Report to be tabled before the ATC.

Adoption of the Draft Report on Division of Revenue Amendment Bill [B15-2016]
The Chairperson took the Members through the document, page by page.
The Committee agreed with the contents of the report.
Ms S Shope-Sithole (ANC) moved for the adoption of the report.
Dr C Madlopha (ANC) seconded the motion.
Dr M Figg (DA) said the DA reserved its right not to adopt the report. He would give his party’s feedback to the Committee before the report went to the ATC.
The Chairperson said Members should try rise above party political lines. She asked Members if they agreed to adopt the report.
Mr N Gcwabaza (ANC) agreed to the adoption of the report.
The Draft Report was adopted with minor amendments.
The meeting was adjourned.
