The Committee met to consider and adopt its outstanding minutes. Members briefly discussed the programmed for the final term but did not approve it.
Meeting report
The Chairperson tabled the fourth-term programme for consideration. He noted that the programme was a joint programme of the Committee and the Select Committee on Appropriations.
The Chairperson outlined some of the items on the agenda and emphasised the need to prioritise because the schedule was tight for the final term. He reminded Members of the decision to conduct oversight visits in a different way than in the past. Finally, he suggested that there was a need to engage with the Whip of the Programme Committee.
It was agreed that the programme would not be was not adopted at this stage. The Chairpersons of both Committees and the Whip of the Programme Committee should meet and agree on everything that needed to be included on the programme.
