The Standing Committee on Finance invites stakeholders and interested parties to submit written submissions on the Draft Carbon Tax Bill.

The Draft Carbon Tax Bill aims to:

provide for the imposition of a tax on the carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalent of greenhouse gas emissions; and to provide for matters connected therewith.

Written submissions should reach Parliament by no later Friday, 09 March 2018 at 12:00.

Should you wish to make an oral submission to the Committee, this should be indicated in your submission.

Public hearings will be conducted at Parliament on Wednesday, 14 March 2018.
