Standing Committee on Appropriations

The Standing Committee on Appropriations invites you to make written submissions on the Appropriation Bill [B3-2016]. The Bill was tabled together with the 2016/2017 Budget on 24 February 2016.

The Money Bills Amendment Procedure and Related Matters Act, No 9 of 2009 (obtainable from: ) requires Parliament to conduct public hearings and to report on the Appropriation Bill. This Bill provides for the appropriation of money from the National Revenue Fund for the requirements of the State for the 2016/17 financial year; and provides for subordinate matters incidental thereto.

Public Hearings will be conducted in Parliament on Tuesday, 10 May 2016.
