Standing Committee on Appropriations
The Standing and Select Committees on Appropriations invite you to make written submissions on the 2024 Division of Revenue Bill and the 2023/24 Second Adjustments Appropriation Bill. These Bills were tabled together with the 2024/2025 national budget by the Minister of Finance on 21 February 2024.
The Money Bills and Related Matters Act, No. 9 of 2009 [as amended by Act 13 of 2018], requires Parliament to conduct public hearings and to report on all Bills.
Public hearings will be conducted via the Zoom Virtual Meeting platform by the Standing and Select Committees on Appropriations on Wednesday, 13 March 2024. The closing date to make submissions or indicate your intention to make an oral presentation is at 16:00 on Friday, 8 March 2024.
