The Select Committee on Security and Justice invites you to submit written submissions on the Repeal of the Transkeian Penal Code Bill [B34-2022] (S75).
The Repeal of the Transkeian Penal Code Bill [B34-2022] (S75) seeks to:
• repeal the Transkeian Penal Code, 1983;
• extend the application of certain laws to the area formerly known as the Republic of Transkei;
• provide for transitional arrangements; and to
• provide for matters connected therewith.
Written submissions must be received by no later than 13:00 on 17 March 2023.
