Report of the Select Committee on Security and Justice on the Draft Notice on the Determination of Remuneration tabled in terms of section 12(3) of the Magistrates Act, 1993 (Act No 90 of 1993), determining the rate at which salaries are payable to magistrates annually, dated 2 June 2021.

The Select Committee on Security and Justice, on 26 May 2021, received a briefing on the Draft Notice on the Determination of Remuneration.

The Select Committee on Security and Justice, having considered the Draft Notice on the Determination of Remuneration in terms of section 12(3) of the Magistrates Act, 1993 (Act No 90 of 1993), determining the rate at which salaries are payable to magistrates annually with effect from 1 April 2020, referred to it on 29 April 2021, recommends that the Council approve the Draft Notice on the Determination of Remuneration as tabled.
