Report of the Select Committee on Security and Justice on the Draft Notice on the Determination of Remuneration submitted in terms of section 2(3)(a) of the Judges’ Remuneration and Conditions of Employment Act, 2001 (Act No 47 of 2001), determining the rate at which salaries are payable to Constitutional Court Judges and Judges annually, dated 2 June 2021.

The Select Committee on Security and Justice, on 26 May, received a briefing on the Draft Notice on the Determination of Remuneration.

The Select Committee, having considered the Draft Notice on the Determination of Remunerationsubmitted in terms of section 2(3)(a) of the Judges’ Remuneration and Conditions of Employment Act, 2001 (Act No 47 of 2001), determining the rate at which salaries are payable to Constitutional Court judges and judges annually with effect from 1 April 2020, referred to it on 29 April 2021, recommends that the Council approve the Draft Notice on the Determination of Remuneration as tabled.
