Report of the Standing Committee on Finance on the request to nominate candidates for appointment to the Board of the Land Bank, dated 31 August 2016:
 

The Standing Committee on Finance, having considered the request by the Minister of Finance to the National Assembly to nominate suitable candidates for appointment to the Board of the Land Bank, referred to it for consideration on 11 May 2016 (ATC, 11 May 2016), reports as follows:

 

The Committee put out a media statement on 19 August 2016, calling for nominations of suitable candidates. The closing date for nominations was 26 August 2016. The Committee received five (5) nominations.

 

After deliberating on 31 August 2016, the Committee recommends, in accordance with Section 4(2) of the Land and Agricultural Development Bank Act, (Act No 15 of 2002), to the Minister of Finance to select suitable candidates from the list for appointment to the Board of the Land Bank:

 

1. Hlaleleni Kathleen Dlepu
2. Doris Dondur
3. Dimakatso Sekhoto
4. Siyaduma Biniza
5. Mamodupi Mohlala-Mulaudzi
