Report of the Portfolio Committee on Public Works on the Expropriation Bill [B 4D – 2015] (National Assembly – sec 76(1)), dated 24 May 2016:

 

The Portfolio Committee on Public Works, having considered the Expropriation Bill

[B 4D – 2015] (National Assembly – sec 76(1)), amended by the National Council of Provinces and referred to the committee, reports that it has agreed to the amendments to the Bill.

 

The Democratic Alliance (DA) and the United Democratic Movement (UDM) agreed to the two amendments by the National Council of Provinces although they had registered their objection to the Bill.
