Report of the Portfolio Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries on the invitation by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to nominate candidates to serve on the National Agricultural Marketing Council (NAMC), dated 03 May 2016.

 

The Portfolio Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, having considered the request by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to the National Assembly to nominate suitable candidates to serve on the National Agricultural Marketing Council (NAMC), referred to it for consideration on 29 October 2015 (see ATC, 29 October 2015), reports as follows:

 

After deliberating on 20 November 2015, 08 March and 19 April 2016, the Committee recommends to the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, in accordance with Section 4(4) (a) of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act, (Act No. 47 of 1996), that the curriculum vitae of the following candidates be considered along with other nominations of candidates to serve on the Board of the National Agricultural Marketing Council:

 

1. Mr Templeton Vuyani Yoba
2. Mr Andries Cronje
3. Ms Mina Magdaleen Gill
4. Ms Boitumelo Gwendolyn Mahuma
5. Mr Ranthoko Jeremiah Rakgoale
