The Portfolio Committee on Transport, having considered the request for approval by Parliament of Annex IV, Annex VI and the Explanatory Memorandum to Annex IV and Annex VI of the International Convention for the Prevention of Marine Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) 73/78, referred to it, recommends that the House, in terms of section 231(2) of the Constitution, approve the outstanding Annex IV and Annex VI of the said Convention.
