Report of the Select Committee on Social Services on the Electoral Amendment Bill [B22B – 2013] (National Assembly – sec 75), dated 22 October 2013:

The Select Committee on Social Services, having considered the subject of the Electoral Amendment Bill [B22B – 2013] (National Assembly – sec 75), referred to it, reports that it has agreed to the Bill.

The committee further reports that the Democratic Alliance (DA)
objected to the amendments in clause 7 of the Bill with reference
to the special votes in election for provincial legislatures.
