The Portfolio Committee on Justice and Constitutional Development, having considered the request for approval by Parliament of the Draft Notice and Schedule submitted in terms of section 12(3) of the Magistrates Act 90 of 1993, determining the rate at which salaries are payable to magistrates annually, with effect from 1 April 2013, tabled on 23 January 2014 and referred to it, recommends that the National Assembly, in terms of section 12(3) of the Magistrates Act 90 of 1993, approves the Notice.
