The Ad Hoc Committee on Protection of State Information Bill, having reconsidered clauses 42 and 45 of the Protection of State Information Bill [B 6D – 2010] (National Assembly – sec 75) and the President’s reservations on defect on the substance thereof ( Announcements, Tablings and Committee Reports, 12 September 2013 ), recommends that the President’s reservations be accommodated, and reports the Bill with amendments [B 6E – 2010] (Democratic Alliance, Congress of the People and Inkatha Freedom Party abstained).
