The Department of Water Affairs briefed the committee on 4 March 2014 on the National Water Amendment Bill [B3 - 2014]. The Bill was referred to the committee on 27 January 2014.

The Select Committee on Land and Environmental Affairs, having deliberated on and considered the subject of the National Water Amendment Bill [B3 - 2014] (National Assembly – sec 75), referred to it and classified by the JTM as a section 75 Bill, agrees to the Bill without amendments.
