VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND CHILDREN AND VICTIMISA TION OF DISABLED CHILDREN

·          Violence against women and children has increased and respect for human life and the dignity of others in our nation has substantially decreased over the last decade. This is in no small way, directly related to the fact that the killing of the most vulnerable and helpless members of our society is legally carried out at the rate of250 per day. This disrespect for human life affects the psyche of the nation.

·          Disabled children are being victimized in the womb and abortion is a routine 'diagnosis' for children with disabilities such as Down's Syndrome. This type of eugenics directly affects people's attitude towards those within our communities living with physical and mental disabilities.
