(a) What (i) is the reason that a tender of R900 million for the printing of SA drivers' licences was awarded to a French company over local bidders and (ii) criteria were used in the decision-making process and (b) how does the appointment of the French company align with the Government's commitment to support local businesses and promote economic development within the Republic and (c) in what way does the specified decision fit with broader policies aimed at encouraging local industry participation and fostering domestic economic growth?
