The Provincial Commissioner of the Northern Cape can provide the assurance that the case docket for Kagisho CAS 120/07/2016, was fully investigated and it was sent to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for decision. The DPP, however, declined prosecution and gave an instruction that an Inquest must be held. The case docket was sent to the Senior Public Prosecutor (SPP), on 2024-04-29, for the purposes of the Inquest to be held. The outcome of the Inquest is still outstanding.
