1)Whether he and/or his department has bought advertising space in The New Age in the (a) 2012-13, (b) 2013-14 and (c) 2014-15 financial years; if so, (i) what number of times and (ii) for what amount in each specified financial year?
Reply:
- Expenditure by the department for advertising space in the New Age newspaper are as follows:
(a) 2012/13 financial year:
(i) 7 adverts
(ii) Total amount of R 393 922.30
(b) 2013/14 financial year:
(i) 3 adverts
(ii) Total amount of R 206 325.18
(c) 2014/15 financial year :
(i) 5 adverts
(ii) Total amount of R 378 511.92
