SUMMARY
The Committee adopted both the Interim Report on the Workshop with National Treasury and the Report on 2005/6, 2006/7 and 2007/8 First Quarter Expenditure Review.

MINUTES
Committee Interim Report on the Workshop with National Treasury
The Committee noted that the Report reflected the workshop held with National Treasury on the Review of Reports in terms of Section 32 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA). It contained only two terms of reference instead of the standard five terms. With that caution in mind the Committee adopted the Report without amendments.

Committee Report on Expenditure Review
It was noted that the Report was a compilation of previous reports produced by the Committee, and thus did not contain any new information. The Committee stated that the Report was not to be tabled in the ATC as it was merely to serve as a tool for the Committee. The Report was adopted as a working report without amendments.

Adoption of Minutes
The Committee adopted its minutes of previous meetings, without amendments.
