MINUTES
Introduction by Chairperson
The Chairperson opened the meeting by introducing the new Committee Secretary, Ms Cindy Balie.

Draft Committee Programme
The Chair presented the Fourth term Committee Programme, and stressed that there were several issue that needed to be dealt with in this last term of Parliament.

The Committee considered the programme and proposed certain amendments

The Chair noted that the Programme was adopted, with amendments.

Committee Report on Gauteng and Kwa-Zulu Natal Oversight visits
The Committee considered the reports and adopted them, with amendments.

Adoption of minutes
The Committee adopted its minutes of previous meetings held on 21, 24 and 28 August 2007 and on 7, 11 and 14 September 2007, with amendments.

The meeting was adjourned.
