MINUTES
Committee Report on Free State Oversight Visit
Members expressed their satisfaction with the Report.

Mr B Mosala (ANC) noted that the streets in the communities they visited were narrow and the houses were old and weak, and expressed his concern at the use of dynamite as an extract method in those communities. He proposed that the Committee not endorse the use of dynamite in such cases.
 
The Chairperson agreed, and noted the concern into the Report.

The Committee adopted the Report, with amendments.

Other Committee business
The Chairperson indicated that the Committee’s Budget and minutes of previous meetings could be discussed, as it did not require a quorum. The Committee Secretary had however not made the documentation available to Members, and they were thus not able to proceed.

The meeting was adjourned.
