NATIONAL SKILL TOURISM CONFERENCE: UPDATE AND FOURTH TERM PROGRAMME: ADOPTION

SUMMARY
The Committee adopted its Fourth Term Programme without effecting any amendments. The names of the five-member delegation that would be attending the National Skill Conference in two days’ time was finalised.

The Fourth Term Programme was adopted, without amendments

National Skills Conference
The Chair announced the five-member delegation that would be attending the conference that would be taking place on 19 and 20 October 2006. The Members include Mr D Maluleke (ANC), Mr A Mokoena (ANC), Ms R Mdzanga (ANC), Mr M Swart (DA) and Ms C Zikalala (IFP).

Arrangements have been made for the conference and Members will be notified of these before the conference commences.

The Chair asked the ANC Members to remain behind to discuss whether anyone else was interested in attending the conference.

The Committee adopted the minutes of its meeting with the South African Weather Services.

The meeting was adjourned.
