Questions from members
Is the advisory council going to be a national council or is going to be provincial council?

Mr Pillay: It is not a council, it is an advisory panel. It is going to be a national function since NHFC is a national body.

Mr de Vos (DP): Regarding loans granted by the NHFC, are these loans granted by banks or who is going to give money?

Mr Pillay: The money will be given by NHFC to lenders.

Chairperson (Ms Hangana): Regarding redlining by the banks, are you communicating with banks?

Mr Pillay: The NHFC communicates with The Banking Council to deal with the redlining of people.

Why does money goes to capacity building rather than housing?

Mr Pillay: The funds from the Germany government are earmarked for capacity building and NHFC grants loans for housing.

The meeting was adjourned.
