SUMMARY
The Committee met to discuss and make amendments to its proposed 2006/07 business plan. It also adopted its Committee Report on the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism’s 2004/05 Annual Report.

MINUTES
The Committee discussed its proposed 2006/07 business plan. It was agreed to make some presentational changes as well as to add a section on contingency spending. Members discussed adding more venues to visit that were less popular tourism destinations. It was also agreed that at some point the Committee should meet with the Director General of the Department to discuss the 2006/07 budget.

The Committee adopted the Department’s 2004/05 annual report without discussion. They also adopted the minutes from November 11, 2005. It was agreed that minutes should not include Members’ specific questions, for risk of misquoting that person.
