SUMMARY
The Committee adopted the Bill with the proposed amendments.
Note: As there were both Section 75 and 76 provisions in this Bill, the Bill was withdrawn on 25 October. The Ministry rectified this and re-introduced the Bill on the 26 October. The Committee will vote on this Bill on 31 October 2005.
MINUTES
Mr A Mngomezulu, the Deputy Director-General of the DME, went through the Bill clause by clause, highlighting the final proposed amendment to the Bill.
The Committee adopted the Diamonds Amendment Bill with the proposed amendments.
