MINUTES
The Committee discussed a draft programme for visits to courts by members of the Justice Portfolio and NCOP Select Committees. These visits will take place during the latter part of April.

The provinces selected for these visits are Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, the Northern Province and the Eastern Cape. The object behind the visits is to monitor the efficiency of these structures in the administration of justice. It is also anticipated that some traditional courts will be visited. The visits will be accompanied by a series of interviews with judicial and other court officials.
