Meeting report
The Chairperson greeted the Members and proposed that the meeting be postponed as the Committee could not get hold of the department and most Committee Members were not in attendance.
Mr I Sileku (DA, Western Cape) said that he agreed to the postponement until the Department confirmed its availability.
The Committee held a moment of silence following the passing of the Committee’s researcher, Ms Tasneem Sterris.
She stated that the Committee researcher Ms Tasneem had passed and asked that a moment of silence be observed in her honour.
