The below is compiled based on the Committee’s official minutes adopted on 3 December 2019.

Mr P Modise (ANC), acting Chairperson, opened the meeting and welcomed Members of the Committee in attendance. He welcomed the Minister, Ms Barbara Creecy, and Deputy Minister, Ms Maggie Sotyu, officials from the Department of Environmental, Forestry and Fisheries (DEFF) and entities.

He tabled the agenda of the meeting, which was adopted by present Members of the Committee. He proceeded to table the apologies received before handing over to the entities

Discussion

The detailed deliberations on the 2019/20 first and second quarterly reports of the above entities are contained in the Draft Quarterly Report dated 27 November 2019/20
