Committee Report on Human Settlements Budget
The Committee adopted its report on the Department of Human Settlement’s strategic plan and annual performance plan, and budget with no amendments. The Committee also approved three outstanding minutes dated 12, 13 and 19 April 2015.
Meeting report
The Chairperson informed Members that the agenda of the meeting had been shortened because of the budget votes, which was rescheduled from 14.00 to 10.00 this morning because of the public holiday.
Committee Report on Human Settlements Budget
The Committee’s report on the strategic plan, annual performance plan and budget Vote 38 of the Department was adopted by Mr H Memezi (ANC) and seconded by Ms T Gqada (DA).
Outstanding Committee Minutes
Mr Memezi moved for the adoption of the minutes of the Committee meeting that held on 12 April 2016. He was seconded by Ms Gqada.
The minutes of the Committee meeting that was held on 13 April 2016 and 19 April 2016 were both adopted by Mr L Khoarai (ANC) and seconded by Mr Memezi.
The Chairperson informed members of a sitting that would hold on 19 May 2016. She therefore proposed that the issue of the regulations should be discussed and adopted before the sitting of the House on 19 May 2016.
It was agreed that the Committee would meet on 3 May 2016 at 9.30 to discuss and adopt the regulations.
The meeting was adjourned.
