The Subcommittee of the Joint Standing Committee on Intelligence recommended six candidates for the post of the Inspector General of Intelligence.

 

Meeting report

The Subcommittee of the Joint Standing Committee on Intelligence met to consider suitable candidates for the job of Inspector General of Intelligence. The Subcommittee agreed that the number of shortlisted candidates could go up to seven. After going through the applications of the candidates, the Subcommittee recommended the following six names:

  1. Advocate Unathi Bruce Bongco
  2. Advocate Seswanthsho Godfrey Lebeya
  3. Ms Modesta Dianne Phillips
  4. Dr Nyelisani Clarence Tshitereke
  5. Professor Bruce William Watson
  6. Mr Brightboy Nhlakanipho Nkontwana  

The Subcommittee agreed these names would be forwarded to the Joint Standing Committee on Intelligence for final approval.

The meeting was adjourned.
