Adoption of Outstanding Minutes
Meeting Summary
The Committee met to adopt the minutes of 4 November, 25 November 2015, 24 February 2016 and 2 March 2016. The minutes of 4 and 25 November 2015 were adopted without amendments while the minutes of 24 February was adopted with amendments. The Committee decided not to adopt the second minutes of 2 March 2016 as this was a joint meeting dealing with the Legal briefing by National Council for Correctional Services (NCCS).

Mr S Thobejane (ANC, Limpopo) moved for the adoption of minutes.
Ms T Wana (ANC, Eastern Cape seconded him.
The minutes were adopted without amendments.
Committee Minutes dated 25 November 2015
The Chairperson took the Members through the document page by page.
Mr J Mthethwa (ANC, KwaZulu-Natal) moved for the adoption of minutes.
Mr Thobejane seconded him.
The minutes were adopted without amendments.
Committee Minutes dated 24 February 2016
The Chairperson took the Members through the document page by page.
Members made minor changes.
Mr Thobejane moved for the adoption of minutes with amendments.
Ms G Manopole (ANC, Northern Cape) seconded him.
The minutes were adopted with amendments.
Committee Minutes dated 2 March 2016
The Chairperson took the Members through the document page by page.
Members made minor changes.
Ms Wana moved for the adoption of minutes with amendments.
Ms Manopole seconded her.
Mr J Mohapi (ANC, Free State) suggested that the Committee should not to adopt the second minutes of 2 March 2016 as this was a joint meeting dealing with the Legal briefing by National Council for Correctional Services (NCCS).
The minutes were not approved.
The meeting was adjourned.
